Churches of the Twin Tiers
COTTT
(One Church - Many Congregations)

OUR VISION is that the many Christ-honoring congregations would demonstrate their oneness in Christ by engaging together in activities as the Church of the Twin Tiers, praying, worshipping, and serving Christ together believing that He will transform the Twin Tiers.

OUR PURPOSE is to develop a great commitment to Jesus' Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) * and to His Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40)* and to fulfill His Great Prayer (John 17:20-24) * so that we can be one and the world will believe that Jesus is God’s Son.

OUR CORE VALUES...
-One Body of Christ expressed in diverse congregations.
-Emphasizing prayer, worship, and reaching people for Jesus together.
-Submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of the Bible and direction by the Holy Spirit.
-Building trust by speaking well of each other and building relationships with each other.
-Respecting each other’s differences and heritage, but not allowing them to divide us.

*Bible references in the Purpose Statement above...

(Matthew 28:18-20 NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. {19} Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Sprit, {20} and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

(Matthew 22:37-40 NIV) Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ {38} This is the first and greatest commandment. {39} And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself." {40} All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

(John 17:20-24 NIV) "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, {21} that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. {22} I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: {23} I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. {24} "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
